With the Watchmen's release only days away, the guys over at Rubber Republic have alerted us to a fresh batch of featurettes. Along with film footage, you'll find interviews with director Zack Snyder (a new age Ridley Scott according to Matthew Goode, Watchmen's Ozymandias); Dave Gibbons - one half of the duo responsible for the Watchmen graphic novel; as well as genuinely insightful character critiques by most of the lead actors. In case you're wondering, that is a deliberately ambiguous statement about the lead actors and their insightful critiques. You'll see what I mean if you watch the interviews...
The good news is that these interviews suggest that Snyder has successfully adapted Dave Gibbons and Alan Moore's material, in particular drawing out the moral complexity of their creation. Only time will tell.
Fortunately, time is short: Watchmen screens in less than a week on 6 March.
