Terminator 4 in the works

If you're a fan of the Terminator films, you may be interested to hear that a fourth Terminator film is in the works. Hopefully they can improve on the decidedly mediocre Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, which was not a patch on Terminator 1 and 2.

Unfortunately the same writers of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines have already drafted a script for the new film. The fourth film begins with John Conner in his 30s, leading what's left of the human race against the machines. No director or cast have been chosen, but it's unlikely that Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will appear in a major role.

Halycon, a privately owned company, has acquired the rights to the Terminator franchise and plans to release the new film in 2009.

It will be crap with out Arnie, he is the Terminator....and that dweeb they chose as John Connor in T3 almost ruined a good film. I thought T3 was as good as the T1 and 2, Arnie did say just after he became Governor, that he would do one last T4, as an obligation to his fans, who voted him in! But I do find that hard to beleive...With no Arnie T4 just has no point..

Sorry Paulie G, I've gotta agree with John - I thought T3 was pretty poor. The main problem they've run into is that Terminators don't age - Arnie has! Arnie would be better served reprising his Conan role (if we could only forget Conan The Destroyer!)- at least that could be convincing - Conan as an old warrior king!
