If you're a fan of the Terminator films, you may be interested to hear that a fourth Terminator film is in the works. Hopefully they can improve on the decidedly mediocre Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, which was not a patch on Terminator 1 and 2.
Unfortunately the same writers of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines have already drafted a script for the new film. The fourth film begins with John Conner in his 30s, leading what's left of the human race against the machines.
No director or cast have been chosen, but it's unlikely that Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will appear in a major role.Halycon, a privately owned company, has acquired the rights to the Terminator franchise and plans to release the new film in 2009.
